92 Points and Editor´s Choice for Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC 2017 at Wine Enthusiast. 90 points for Gemischter Satz 2017!
Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC 2017:
This wine's shy nose gives very little away, but the palate offers subtle Conference pear notes, made more precise by lovely lemon brightness. A touch of yeast lends texture. The finish is wonderfully lip-smacking.
Gemischter Satz 2017:
The hints of sun-dried hay, russet pear and bright lemon that mark the nose of this wine combine into zesty freshness on the palate. It's ripe and concentrated, with a dry, lemony zing that lingers until the very last echo.

Gorgeous ratings for GV Weinviertel DAC 15 (90 Points), Braitenpuechtorff GV Weinviertel DAC 15 (91 Points) & Braitenpuechtorff Gemischter Satz 15 (92 Points) at Wine Enthusiast!
92 Points Gemischter Satz Braitenpuechtorff: While the nose is slow to express itself, the palate immediately bursts with crisp, tart apple, with fresh, green pear, with ripe but zesty citrus. There is an innate lightness and lovely depth in this unforced, honest and utterly refreshing wine. It comes on light feet and draws you in with its fresh-faced authenticity. More please.
91 Points GV Braitenpuechtorff: Very fresh, fruity and appetizing notes of juicy pear make this very easy to like and sip. The palate is fresh and made light and zingy by lovely zesty lime and lemon notes. A vein of white pepper is fizzing away at the core. It's a perfect summer wine with the slightest spritz.
90 Points GV Weinviertel DAC: There is an earthy aspect to the yeasty flavors on the nose. The palate counters this with pure, streamlined lemon freshness and the very slightest of spritz. Very refreshing and wonderfully clean-cut citrus notes on a slender, zippy body.

Gorgeous ratings and a wonderful Article by Julia Harding for Jancis Robinson!
Bernhardt - gemischter Satz maischevergoren 2013 - 17,5 Points:
Hints of honey and apricot and dried wild flowers. On the palate, very complex ‘golden’ flavours – apricot, spice and almost oily in its depth and rich but smooth texture with just a slight sense of the tannins. There’s some oak influence here but the fruit is so deep it does not in any way dominate. Lots of impact. Intensely fresh on the finish. Powerful and complex and I can only imagine it will become more so. Very good indeed. Delicious and incredibly persistent. Less tannic and powerful than most skin-fermented whites but with all their depth and complexity.
Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC 2014 - 16,5 Points:
Deeply aromatic with an array of fruit aromas but mostly pear and peach; the lees ageing has given it a definite creamy quality too. Peppery and crisp on the palate, plenty of bright citrus freshness. Full flavoured and tangy on the finish, the freshness cutting to a mouth-watering finish. It has the riper fruit that often comes from the Weinviertel but also a stony, grainy texture that lifts it beyond fruity.
Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC Dorflagen 2014 - 16,5+ - Points!
Less immediately fruity and expressive than the straight Weinviertel Grüner, more subtle and mineral but still with a creamy lees note. On the palate too, this is less exuberant and a touch salty – less fruit impact but a little more depth, intensity, length and a firmer texture.
Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC Reserve In der Schablau 2014 - 17 Points!
Smells creamy, leesy and stony with sour-citrus, green-fruits freshness and a light dusting of white pepper. On the palate, quite broad in the mouth, with sweet citrus and a light herbal quality, not bone dry but that light residual sweetness highlights the aromas on the palate. Compact, rich and moreish, finishing finely fresh even with all that richness of texture. I think this will be better and more complex with a bit longer in bottle.
Grüner Veltliner Sauberg Tradition 2014 - 17 Points!
Inviting depths to the aroma here – a little bit smoky but clear notes of pear and stone fruit and white pepper. Terrific depth on the palate – both pear fruit and fine-grained leesy texture, with the oak barely visible. Rich and a little spicy on the palate, a savoury minerality bringing an extra layer to the fruit and firm texture. Impressive, long and rewarding, with much more to come but delicious even now. Persistent.
Gemischter Satz Dorflagen 2014 - 16,5 Points!
Subtle but complex aroma (hardly surprising with all those varieties) – creamy pear, light citrus predominate. Smells chalky too. On the palate, off dry and richly flavoured but still mouth-wateringly fresh. Hard to pick out individual fruit flavours but mostly lemon and greengage with a hint of clementine. Sweetness is felt on the finish but all in harmony with the crisp acidity.

Wonderful ratings by David Schildknecht for "Vinous":
Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC 2013 - 91 Points:
A luscious yet sassy meld of honeydew melon, pear and fresh lime is tinged with herbs and white pepper on a palate at once glossy and bright. Five hours of skin contact and three months on the lees have enhanced cut and textural allure, and a resonant, vibrating finish displays a levity that suggests even less than the 12.5% alcohol that’s actually present.
Gemischter Satz 2013 - 92 Points:
Apple and lime, quince and diverse melons lusciously inform a subtly satiny and substantial palate, tart crunchiness and brown-spice inflections serving for invigoration and salinity for salivation in a superbly sustained finish. There are nearly seven grams of residual sugar here, but to the extent that there is any sense of sweetness it is highly supportive.
Grüner Veltliner Weinviertel DAC Reserve In der Schablau 2013 - 92 Points:
From vines planted by Groiss’s grandmother, this bottling raised in cask displays impressive and fascinating diversity. Violet and wisteria draw you in, then follow onto the palate, where they are joined by a rich meld of peach, pineapple and fig. Full at 14% alcohol, this nonetheless avoids any heat or harshness. Hints of honey and salted caramel, smoky suggestions of toasted hickory, and a dusting of white pepper and crushed stone render the lingering finish somehow at once soothing and invigorating.
Grüner Veltliner Sauberg Tradition 2013 - 91 Points:
A musky alliance of peony perfume and ripe muskmelon is joined by smoky/sweet Szechuan pepper in a fetching nose. Luscious melon is backed on a creamy and palpably dense palate by a sense of sweetness due above all to sheer ripeness but also to relatively low acidity and the hint of oak caramelization. (There are only two grams of actual sugar.) Tart suggestions of rhubarb along with the bite of pepper serve for satisfying counterpoint as well as finishing stimulation.

Manfred Klimek aka Captain Cork is tasting my gemischten Satz for "Welt am Sonntag": "Groiss´großartiger Gemischter Satz riecht zuerst nach Quitte und grünem Apfel.

Some fermentation aromas. But this is great raw material - classic tight, bright, crisp and that minerally pepper underlay. Generous, pure, clear sighted and long.
Ingrid Groiss, Gemischter Satz 2012
Compley, ripe aromas of quince and yellow plum and citrus, Then lovely purity on the palate with just a touch of apricot. Lively and long and bright
"If you want terroir, you´ve got it!" Michael Weber from "weinereignis.de" about his highlights from the Weinviertel
http://www.weinereignis.de/ereignis/prowein-2013/weinviertel/
Weine mit eindeutigem Herkunftscharakter bringt Ingrid Groiss aus Breitenwaida in die Flasche. So muss Terroir schmecken! Ganz besonders zeigt dies der Gemischte Satz 2012: ein Aromenfeuerwerk aus mehr als einem Dutzend Rebsorten, die zusammen gelesen und vinifiziert wurden. Ein sehr universeller Speisenbegleiter, back to the roots! If you want terroir, you´ve got it!

A great tasting note by Julia Harding for www.jancisrobinson.com:
Ingrid Groiss, Reserve Grüner Veltliner 2011 Weinviertel
Barrel sample. Second vintage for Ingrid Groiss. Much more restrained on the nose than the non-Reserve, a touch of apple and pear. Some pear-like aromas of young wine (it's still cloudy) but has a nice grainy texture too. Sour/fresh length. Lots of spicy tang on the finish. Pretty ripe overall but not too rich. (JH)
Ingrid Groiss Grüner Veltliner 2011 Weinviertel
Classic GV pepperiness on the nose but also a very slight floral note of white blossom. Intense zesty lemon fruit, clear and resounding freshness and a nice stony finish. (JH)
